How long can the perm last?

A perm average last between 4 to 9 months. The lastingness of each perm also depends on a few factors:

1. The condition of the hair. The healthier the hair, the longer the curls will last.

2. Aftercare shampoo and treatment at home does help in prolonging the curl.

3. Avoid swimming/using scalp shampoos after the perm for at least 2 weeks.

4. The types of curls you choose also determine the lastingness.

5. A haircut every 3 month also prolong the curl and shape.
